The performance of a sustainable green concrete with fly ash (FA), rice husk (RHA), and stone dust (SD) as partial replacement cement sand was experimentally explored. FA RHA have high silica content, are highly pozzolanic in nature surface area without any treatment. These by-products show filler effects, which enhance concrete’s density. Results showed that the materials good hydration behaviour effectively develop strength at an early age concrete. SD acts stress transferring medium...

The utilization of waste products is becoming a vital aspect the construction industry to safeguard environmental assets and mitigate pollution, all which lead long-term sustainable development. From this perspective, experimental investigation was carried out determine cumulative influence glass cullet metakaolin (MK) as partial replacements for coarse aggregates cement in an isolated combined manner. This research demonstrated integrating aggregate wherein substituted by 10%, 15%, 20%,...

Safety performance functions (SPFs) are crash prediction models that quantitatively relate the expected number of counts with traffic volume and roadway roadside geometries. SPFs help safety officials identify unsafe locations take appropriate counteractive measures. A study assembled geometry data freeways (only Interstate highway were used for this study) in Connecticut development SPFs. Models estimated separately single-vehicle multivehicle crashes. Total fatal injury crashes considered...

AbstractThis article presents an investigation of pedestrian conflicts and crash count models to learn which exposure measures roadway or roadside characteristics significantly influence safety at road crossings. Negative binomial ordered proportional odds technique were used estimate conflict severity models. Pedestrian counts data collected 100 locations throughout Connecticut. from the Connecticut Crash Data Repository. The results show that minor serious are marginally significant in...

A light source of selective functionalities wavelengths, illumination periods, and intensities is desirable for investigating performance parameters as well the quality different layers interfaces solar cells. Conventional sources used these types research are expensive, space-consuming, cumbersome to work with, have limited functionalities. We developed a with variable wavelength, intensity, period address issues using an control unit, voltage regulator, neutral density filter, alterable...
