This paper proposes a new method for the automatic generation of digital terrain model (DTM) from airborne laser scanning technique. First, generate regular grids, and then filter points on each grid. Finally, change size grid these grids repeatedly. The data measured by LiteMapper-5600 in city is used to evaluate method. results show that this can remove most non-ground effectively DTM with high-accuracy urban areas.
