La3+ adsorption isotherms to five soil constituents (quartz, feldspar, kaolinite, goethite and humic acid) are studied. EDTA, fulvic acid pH effects also investigated on the of lanthanum by because their relative importance in affecting metal environmental behavior. Adsorption show differences capacity shape studied range La3+. These can be classified according capacity: > ≈ kaolinite feldspar quartz. increase could promote while EDTA reduce these two adsorbents. Fulvic but has less effect goethite.

Cadmium pollution is becoming a serious problem due to its nondegradability and substantial negative influence on the normal growth of crops, thereby harming human health through food chain. Rhizospheric bacteria play important roles in crop tolerance. However, there little experimental evidence which demonstrates how various cadmium concentrations affect bacterial community wheat fields including rhizosphere microorganisms nonrhizosphere (bulk) microorganisms. In this study, 16S rRNA...

Abstract A nanostructured laminar W-La 2 O 3 alloy (WL10) with improved ductility was prepared using a surface mechanical attrition treatment (SMAT). φ1.5 mm ZrO WL10 balls subjected to SMAT (called ball SMATed WL10) samples possess the best profile and excellent integrated properties (the ductile-brittle transition temperature (DBTT) value decreases by approximately 200 °C, bending strength 100 Mpa). highly dense group of laminates detected near sample. The were composed micro-grain layer,...

Over the past several decades, rocky desertification has led to severe ecological problems in karst areas South China. After a treatment project was completed, vegetation coverage changed greatly and, consequently, increased ecology water consumption (approximately equal actual evapotranspiration) of regional vegetation. Thus, it intensified stresses. This study explored changes evapotranspiration (ETa) response China based on precipitation (P), potential (ETp) and NDVI (the normalized...
