15566 Background: Gemcitabine (G) monotherapy and G + cisplatin (C) have showed significant response rate (RR), including some complete responses (CR), to increase survival time in patients (pts) with advanced gallbladder cancer (AGC), but results depend on the regimen that was used, for how long therapy given. Here we compare of four different modalities. Methods: We updated terms overall survival, safety cohorts patients, treated or GC regimens, two them formal phase II studies, others...

Germ cell tumors (GCTs) in male patients are particularly important oncology because the impact of a cure young patient population is significant. Patients with poor-risk by international classification system have about 50% likelihood long-term survival. No randomized trial has proved chemotherapy regimen to be superior that four courses combination bleomycin, etoposide, and cisplatin. Ongoing research evaluating role high-dose hematopoietic stem transplantation as initial therapy...

4211 Background: Gallbladder carcinomas (GC) are often diagnosed at an advanced/metastatic stage amenable only to palliative surgery. Published data on CT for GC quite scarce and frequently, erroneously mixed with others biliary tract cancers, their median survival is around 8 12 weeks. Results of chemotherapy advanced extremely poor traditional treatment based 5-FU. Methods: Since 1997 we have been studying the effect gemcitabine. We retrospectively reviewed two different protocol...

15140 Background: Since 1999 we had been studying the effect of chemotherapy in gallbladder cancer, a disease frequent low economical income area world, orphan research, traditionally considered chemotherapy-resistant. Previous studies included 5- FU regimen and communicated response rate 10–26 %, no changes on survival. We first conducted phase II study with gemcitabine (Gem), later, another (with support GOCCHI) using Gem cisplatin (C). 2001 treated patients out clinical trial. compare...
