In this study, the composition and mechanical properties of composites designed for shipbuilding are described. This paper presents experimental results from three-point bending tests for a composite made of quadriaxial glass fiber fabrics and an epoxy resin. Considering the advantages of using expanded polystyrene (EPS) reinforced with adhesive tape made glass fibers, this paper presents a design and technological solution for functional drone class C1, meaning maximum take-off mass 900 g, tests validating use EPS small UAVs under flight conditions.
