We present the measurements of all-particle energy spectrum and mean logarithmic mass cosmic rays in range 0.3-30 PeV using data collected from LHAASO-KM2A between September 2021 December 2022, which is based on a nearly composition-independent reconstruction method, achieving unprecedented accuracy. Our analysis reveals position knee at 3.67±0.05±0.15 PeV. Below knee, spectral index found to be -2.7413±0.0004±0.0050, while above it -3.128±0.005±0.027, with sharpness transition measured...
Abstract Identifying Galactic PeVatrons (PeV particle accelerators) from ultrahigh-energy (UHE, >100 TeV) γ -ray sources plays a crucial role in revealing the origin of cosmic rays. The UHE source 1LHAASO J1857+0203u is suggested to be associated with HESS J1858+020, which may attributed possible PeVatron candidate supernova remnant (SNR) G35.6−0.4 or H ii region G35.6−0.5. We perform detailed analysis on very-high-energy and emissions toward this data Large High Altitude Air Shower...
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have made significant contributions to landslide emergency response operations due their precise and flexible imaging capabilities. However, the conventional workflow of generating orthophotos from UAV imagery subsequent interpretation often exceeds critical 72-hour rescue window. To address this challenge, paper presents a onboard extraction method for original images utilizing convolutional neural network (CNN). Given abundance overlapping images, CNN is...
The nearby radio galaxy M87 is a very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray emitter established by observations with ground-based detectors. Here we report the long-term monitoring of from 2021 to 2024 Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). has been detected LHAASO statistical significance $\sim 9\sigma$. observed energy spectrum extends 20 TeV, possible hardening at 20$ TeV and then clear softening higher energies. Assuming that intrinsic described single power law up tight upper bound...
The focal plane camera is the core component of Wide Field-of-view Cherenkov/fluorescence Telescope Array (WFCTA) Large High-Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). Because capability working under moonlight without aging, silicon photomultipliers (SiPM) have been proven to be not only an alternative but also improvement conventional photomultiplier tubes (PMT) in this application. Eighteen SiPM-based cameras with square light funnels built for WFCTA. telescopes collected more than 100...
The KM2A is the largest sub-array of Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). It consists 5216 electromagnetic particle detectors (EDs) and 1188 muon (MDs). data recorded by EDs MDs are used to reconstruct primary information cosmic ray gamma-ray showers. This for physical analysis in astronomy physics. To ensure reliability LHAASO-KM2A data, a three-level quality control system has been established. monitor status detector units, stability reconstructed parameters performance...
In this paper, we report the detection of very-high-energy (VHE, $ 100{\rm\ GeV} < E TeV} $) and ultra-high-energy (UHE, $E > 100\rm\ TeV$) $\gamma$-ray emissions from direction young star-forming region W43, observed by Large High Altitude Air Shower Observation (LHAASO). The extended source was detected with a significance ${\sim}16\,\sigma$ KM2A ${\sim}17\,\sigma$ WCDA, respectively. angular extension is about 0.5 degrees, corresponding to physical size 50 pc. We discuss origin emission...
The attenuation length of the muon content in extensive air showers provides important information regarding generation and development showers. This can be used not only to improve description such but also test fundamental models hadronic interactions. Using data from LHAASO-KM2A experiment, high-energy was studied. measured experimental energy range 0.3 30 PeV using constant intensity cut method. By comparing with predictions interaction (QGSJET-II-04, SIBYLL 2.3d, EPOS-LHC), it is...
