Abstract. Continuous measurements of atmospheric organic and elemental carbon (OC EC) were taken during the high-pollution fall winter seasons at Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China from September 2003 through February 2004. Battery-powered mini-volume samplers collected PM2.5 samples daily PM10 every third day. Samples also obtained plumes residential coal combustion, motor-vehicle exhaust, biomass burning sources. These analyzed for OC/EC by thermal/optical reflectance (TOR) following...

In spring 2005, daily particulate matter (PM 2.5 ) aerosol samples were collected at Tongliao, a site in the Horqin sand land of northeastern China. The concentrations 20 elements, 9 water‐soluble ions, and elemental organic carbon (EC OC, respectively) determined filter samples. Crustal material was major contributor to PM mass, but rural biomass burning local urban pollution also influenced composition aerosol. mean mass concentration 126 ± 71 μ g m −3 (arithmetic standard deviation), with...

Six residences were selected (two roadside, two urban, and rural) to evaluate the indoor-outdoor characteristics of PM(2.5) (aerodynamic diameter <2.5 microm) carbonaceous species in Hong Kong during March April 2004. Twenty-minute-averaged indoor outdoor concentrations recorded by DustTrak samplers simultaneously at each site for 3 days examine diurnal variability mass their indoor-to-outdoor (I/O) ratios. Abstract. A total suspended particulate (TSP) sample was collected hourly in Xi'an, an inland megacity of China near the Loess Plateau, during a dust storm event 2013 (9 March 18:00−12 10:00 LT), along with size-resolved aerosol sampling and online measurement PM2.5. The TSP samples were determined for elemental carbon (EC), organic (OC), water-soluble (WSOC) nitrogen (WSON), inorganic ions elements to investigate chemistry evolution particles. Hourly concentrations Cl−, NO3−, SO42−, Na+...

Abstract. PM10 and size-resolved particles (9-stage) were simultaneously collected at Mt. Hua Tai in central east China during the spring of 2009 including a massive dust storm occurring on 24 April (named as DS II), determined for organic compounds to investigate impact aerosols. High molecular weight (HMW) n-alkanes, fatty acids, alcohols trehalose sharply increased almost entirely stayed coarse when was present, suggesting that high level aerosols mountain atmospheres event largely...

The microscopic mechanism of identical superdeformed bands in ${}^{192,193,194}\mathrm{Hg}$ is investigated using the particle-number conserving treatment for cranked shell model with monopole and quadrupole pairing interactions. In combination analysis normally deformed rare-earth nuclei, it shown that observed nuclei $A\ensuremath{\sim}190$ region result from competition among effect, interaction, blocking effect on pairing, Coriolis antipairing where a strict consistent plays crucial role.

Abstract A method is proposed to enhance the security of three-dimensional (3D) objects through computer-generated hologram (CGH) encryption and hiding. The process begins by encoding 3D object using an iterative angular-spectrum layer-oriented create optimized phase-only CGH. Next, encrypted image produced modulating CGH with a chaotic random phase mask (CRPM) generated Henon mapping. Subsequently, combination discrete wavelet transform (DWT) singular value decomposition (SVD) utilized...

Abstract To improve the security and invisibility of image encryption concealment, an encrypted computer generated hologram (CGH) watermarking technology based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT) singular value decomposition (SVD) is proposed. Firstly, to be encoded converted into a binary real-valued CGH. The CGH then embedded host as watermark, implementing concealment. During decryption, watermark first extracted using inverse DWT-SVD correct keys. Subsequently, decrypted obtained by...

The experimentally observed obvious nonadditivity in the nuclear moment of inertia and angular momentum alignment multiquasiparticle rotational bands, both normally deformed superdeformed nuclei, presents a serious challenge to traditional BCS treatment for pairing. It is shown that systematically mainly comes from destructive interference between blocking effects, can be satisfactorily accounted by particle-number conserving method, which effects are treated consistently exactly.
