To achieve high quality welding of an AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet, butt experiments are conducted using Nd:YAG pulsed laser welder to weld the (1 mm). The influence preheating temperature on microscopic structure and mechanical performance is studied. Experimental results show that with rising temperature, grain size equiaxed crystal in center columnar at fusion boundary (FB) first decreases then increases reaches minimum values 18.89 ± 0.45 32.09 1.52 μm, respectively, when preheated 200 °C....
Abstract Previously reported studies of the unlubricated sliding quenched-and-tempered steel pins against similarly treated rings have been supplemented by temperature measurements and tests over a range loads speeds. The rate wear pin depends on hardness countersurface; it is shown that increase in for softer accompanied higher rougher track ring. Attention thereby drawn towards conditions contact zone, both during running when steady state has reached. Erratum to this paper appears 24(4).
