Bovine viral diarrhoea virus genotype 1 (BVDV-1) and bluetongue (BTV) are potent pathogens that may be transmitted through semen, resulting in the spread of diseases via artificial insemination. Thus, establishing an early detection method for BVDV-1 BTV infection is important trading semen. In this study, we developed two RT‒ddPCR methods to detect BTV, each was evaluated repeatability, limit specificity. The sensitivity these compared with RT‒qPCR (WOAH) by analysing clinical samples....

SUMMARY Diabetes mellitus (DM) is currently known to be one of the risk factors for pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) and proportion DM in PTB rising along with increased prevalence countries high burden. This study was designed explore impact on clinical presentation treatment outcome China. In an urban setting Beijing, 1126 patients, 30·6% positive sputum smear, registered two dispensaries from January 2010 December 2011 were screened followed up prospectively during treatment. observed 16·2%...

Abstract Background Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) caused by alphaherpesvirus 1 (BoHV-1) is one of the most important contagious diseases in bovine. This common infectious disease cattle. has led to high economic losses cattle farming industry. BoHV-1 can potentially be transmitted via semen during natural or artificial insemination (AI). Therefore, testing methods for early diagnosis infection are urgently needed international trade ruminant semen. In this study, we developed a...

Previous camera self-calibration methods have exhibited certain notable shortcomings. On the one hand, they either exclusively emphasized scene cues or solely focused on vehicle-related cues, resulting in a lack of adaptability to diverse scenarios and limited number effective features. Furthermore, these utilized geometric features within traffic scenes extracted semantic information, failing comprehensively consider both aspects. This comprehensive feature extraction from scenes,...

Trichuriasis is a serious threat to the economic development of animal husbandry. This research aimed establish droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) method detect Trichuris spp. for early diagnosis and prevention trichuriasis in sheep. The real-time quantitative (qPCR) ddPCR methods were used detection nematodes by targeted amplification ITS gene. Each means was evaluated optimize limit reproducibility. For recombinant plasmid, qPCR results showed that 31.7 copies per reaction. In contrast qPCR, able...

The acceleration of electrons by a Laguerre-Gaussian(LG) beam in vacuum is studied. It shown that only the longitudinal electric field LG with mode indices p and l=1 can be used to accelerate electrons. linearly- circularly-polarized beams effectively play role laser electron acceleration. Some physical characteristics, such as phase group velocities axial optical field, energy gain etc., are discussed. analytical expressions for accelerating potential etc. derived make numerical analysis.
