ABSTRACT A Level III fugacity model was applied to characterize the transfer processes and environmental fate of benzo[ a ]pyrene in wastewater‐irrigated areas Tianjin, China. The physical–chemical properties parameters were used concentration distribution sediment, soil, water, air, fish, crop compartments, as well fluxes across then derived under steady‐state assumptions. calculated results compared with monitoring data for sediment collected from literature. indicate that there generally...
A procedure was developed for determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in heavily contaminated paddy soil from wastewater irrigated farmland near Tianjin. The sample distilled with accelerated solvent extraction (ASE), purified by a silica gel column, and measured GC/MS. optimal conditions the distillation were at 140°C (1500 psi) 1:1 mixture dichloromethane acetone 5 min. Application cyclohexane extract transfer improved recovery when ASE followed cleanup procedure....
The spatial distribution patterns of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soil are important to regional environmental assessment. In this paper, the structural features sixteen prior PAH compounds topsoil Tianjin area, as well properties, were studied. Results shown that medium scale autocorrelations revealed. Spherical models with sills could be used fit all experimental variograms. structures PAHs contents demonstrated significant anisotropy. Air precipitation caused by combustion...
The motional averaging effect of the alkali-metal atoms in a coated cell is influenced by non-negligible background gas and characterized diffusion coefficient atoms. In this paper, we present an experimental approach to measure atomic within paraffin through analyzing spin relaxation caused first-order second-order magnetic-field gradients, respectively, given distinct dependencies these two effects on coefficient. measured be $0.137\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}{\mathrm{m}}^{2}/\mathrm{s}$...
