Three functional hERG channel assay methods have been developed and evaluated. The were tested against five known inhibitors: dofetilide, terfenadine (Seldane), sertindole (Serdolect), astemizole (Hismanal), cisapride (Propulsid). DiBAC4(3)-based assays found to be the most economical but had high false-hit rates as a result of interaction dye with test compounds. membrane potential fewer color-quenching problems was expensive still gave false hits. nonradioactive Rb+ efflux sensitive all...

Naevus depigmentosus (ND) is a congenital, nonfamilial, well-circumscribed, uniformly hypopigmented macule, the relative size and distribution of which stable throughout life. The aetiopathogenesis ND not yet fully understood, reports about clinical histopathological characteristics are few.To investigate ND, to make it easier diagnose clinically.A survey on 38 patients with was performed according diagnostic criteria proposed by Coupe. Wood's lamp examination used distinguish different...

Background: Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Dp) and D. farinae (Df) mites are the most important source of indoor aeroallergens. Most Dp mite allergens identified to date have relatively low molecular weights (MWs). Identification high‐MW is a crucial step in characterizing complete spectrum provide appropriate tools for diagnostic therapeutic application. Methods: The full‐length Der p 11 cDNA clone was isolated using library immunoscreening, 5′–3′ rapid amplification ends (RACE) system...

Despite the high risk of eating disorder (ED)-related attitudes and behaviors among female dancers, targeted scientific dietary regimens are currently inadequate. Time-restricted (TRE), a popular intermittent fasting protocol, has been shown to be effective in enhancing body composition exercise performance athletes. In this study, TRE was employed as regimen improve address ED DanceSport dancers.

CT-based bronchial tree analysis is a key step for the diagnosis of lung and airway diseases. However, topology trees varies across individuals, which presents challenge to automatic bronchus classification. To solve this issue, we propose Bronchus Classification Network (BCNet), structure-guided framework that exploits segment-level topological information using point clouds learn voxel-level features. BCNet has two branches, Point-Voxel Graph Neural (PV-GNN) segment classification,...

We describe a case of primary cutaneous mucormycosis in 44‐year‐old man with an 18‐month history infiltrative erythematous plaques and haemorrhagic crusting on the dorsum his left hand. The isolate was identified as Mucor irregularis (formerly Rhizomucor variabilis) based fungus morphology DNA sequencing results. Improvement observed after 6‐month treatment course itraconazole. No recrudescence seen during follow‐up 23 months treatment.

Automatic segmentation of the bronchial tree from CT imaging is important, as it provides structural information for disease diagnosis. Despite merits previous automatic bronchus methods, they have paied less attention to issue we term \textit{Intensity Confusion}, wherein intensity values certain background voxels approach those foreground within bronchi. Conversely, some are nearly identical voxels. This proximity in introduces significant challenges neural network methodologies. To...
