To enhance the performance of traditional cationic collector, a novel polyhydroxy amine collector N-(2,3-Propanediol)-N-dodecylamine (PDDA) was designed by introducing one propylene glycol group into dodecylamine (DDA). It prepared nucleophilic substitution reaction, which showed better solubility and hydrophobicity than DDA firstly employed as for separation hematite quartz. Flotation tests that PDDA had an excellent flotation significantly selectivity DDA. In addition, adsorption mechanism...

Reduced chromite ore processing residue (rCOPR) is vulnerable to the surrounding conditions in environments, which can induce release and oxidation of Cr(III). This work found synergistic effect light sulfite on destroying rCOPR stability, causing significant Cr(VI), was 4∼7 times higher than that under single factor action. In CrxFe1-x(OH)3/sulfite/light system, Cr(VI) rate could reach 11.11 × 10-7 M min-1 g-1, because rapid formation ·OH, O2·-, SO4·-, quadrivalent iron [Fe(IV)]. addition,...

In this work, the stable layer structure of serpentine, which seriously restricts extraction magnesium, was broken down, and a nearly 94% leaching efficiency Mg obtained by adding 5% fluorite powder. Compared with system without fluorite, increased 36.42%. This result achieved because complexation fluorinion (F−) Si in serpentine promoted distorted tetrahedral orientation, led to loose crystal contributed exposing more for remarkable increase recovery. It is suggested that powder could...
