This paper investigates the effect of friction on buckling behavior a thin, shallow, elastic spherical shell under uniform external pressure based an axisymmetric model finite element method. The study examines combination different geometric parameters with three types boundary conditions: clamped, hinged, and frictional ends wide range coefficients.
