Abstract Borosilicate glass is a promising material for the immobilization of high‐level radioactive waste, and its irradiation stability critical factor influencing leakage radionuclides into biosphere. This study investigates impact γ‐ray on three‐oxide sodium borosilicate glasses (NBS) at doses 8 800 kGy room temperature. Elemental depth profiles leaching behavior are evaluated using TOF‐SIMS ICP‐OES. The results reveal that effect γ‐irradiation corrosion would soon recover after 1 day....
