We have produced the first 30 m resolution global land-cover maps using Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) and Enhanced Plus (ETM+) data. classified over 6600 scenes of TM data after 2006, 2300 ETM+ before all selected from green season. These images cover most world's land surface except Antarctica Greenland. Most these came United States Geological Survey in level L1T (orthorectified). Four classifiers that were freely available employed, including conventional maximum likelihood classifier...

Abstract Optimally diffusive coarse mesh finite difference (odCMFD) method is a recently developed acceleration for neutron transport equation. Compared with the traditional CMFD, it adds an optimal theta on diffusion coefficient. This new achieves higher convergence rate than CMFD and promises even in large optical thickness region. However, of odCMFD determined by Fourier analysis results 1D SN. When applying to accelerate DGFEM based SN, this not always suitable. Therefore, necessary find...

Abstract Stem respiration is a key driver of carbon flux from ecosystems to the atmosphere, yet its response global warming remains poorly constrained. In particular it has been proposed that stem acclimates changing temperatures, which could have large implications for cycling under climate change, but no theory exists predict acclimated rates. Here, we hypothesized physiologically linked transpiration in order maintain hydraulic continuity. We then use linkage, combined with...
