Abstract We propose a lamina-shaped metamaterial absorber based on the coherently coupled weak resonances of high-order Helmholtz resonators in this work. Such an ultra-thin lamina can achieve broadband tunable absorption (maximal >0.9), which exhibits near-perfect ventilation performance (ventilated area ratio >0.8, wind velocity >0.95). Benefiting from between units with different structure parameters, presents (506–659 Hz 2 × 3 and 480–679 4 units). The simple shape sound leads...
The impetus for examining ventilated acoustic metamaterials stems from the demand increasingly efficient and adaptable noise reduction sound wave manipulation techniques. However, present reconfigurable metamaterial absorbers, their absorption band ventilation rate have not yet attained practical application at low frequencies (<1000 Hz). A theoretical experimental demonstration of a ultra-sparse absorber with highly sparse tunability is presented. based on triadic cylindrical...
Developed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Next Generation Air Transportation System project (NextGen) is an initiative working towards improvement of National Airspace (NAS). NextGen seeks to reduce both fuel consumption and adverse environmental impacts air transportation, while improving safety accommodating foreseeable industry expansion. The encompasses improvements in all phases flight, including ground operations, takeoffs, descents. This paper describes a simulation...
