ABSTRACT
Extensive evidence exists that patients with head and neck cancer (HNC), including oral cancer, experience multiple local, systemic, psychological symptoms across the trajectory (Murphy et al., 2019; Muthu 2018; Speksnijder 2021; Townes 2020). Some of these can continue even after surgical resection a tumor (Crowder 2018) occur together as symptom clusters (SCs). SCs have been found to synergistic effects on patient outcomes (Oh 2019), signifying need for advanced SC research in cancer.
