ABSTRACT
This study aimed to explore the prospective teachers' critical thinking and analysis skills based on gender. is a descriptive quantitative with survey methods. The research samples were 50 males females who take anatomy plant development courses selected using purposive random sampling. data of collected instrument developed that was validated by two experts tested 20 biology education students. analyzed descriptively statistically software (IBM SPSS Statistic 23). results show (1) as underdeveloped; (2) differ in components interpretation, explanation, self-regulation; (3) explanation interpretations; (4) there positive correlation between skills. Based result study, serious planned handling can be done through important learning. this an initial reference priority determination lecturers teaching
