Adapting the OSCE to the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. A look at the e-OSCE from the students’ perspective

ABSTRACT
a completely remote OSCE (e-OSCE) was conducted for the first time using Microsoft Teams platform.255 test takers were tasked with presenting their communication and clinical skills in order to assess reasoning.A i m: Analysis of assessment adaptation requirements COVID-19 pandemic at Department Medical Educations form e-OSCE from students' perspective.M e t h o d s: Discussion modification carried out among 6 th -year medical students graduates undergoing validation foreign degrees.In opinions e-OSCE, we used questionnaires.The Statistica 12.0 program analyse results.R s u l According 91.57% respondents, well-prepared.60% strongly agree 29.47% rather that stations appropriate clear.A majority respondents rated as fair.66.32% proportions appropriate.The vast participants exam (81.05%) had enough individual stations.A statistically significant (p <0.0001) correlation found between type classes preparation e-OSCE.For 61.05% Laboratory Training Clinical Skills course best taking e-OSCE.Taking into account stressfulness OSCE, only 15.96% online more stressful than traditional (in-person) exam.C n c The well-organized.Informing test-takers prior about role invigilators assessing should be improved.The has been proven suitable wide range material validating proportions.The is fair according examinees' opinion.The study proves even pandemic, it possible prepare an without exposing examiners examinees dangers posed by COVID-19.
