ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the efficacy of endoscopy for treatment benign biliary stricture after surgery.Methods The clinical data 127 patients with surgery at First Hospital Lanzhou University from January 2007 to December 2011 were retrospectively analyzed.According Bismuth classification,there 60 type Ⅰ,35 Ⅱ,21 Ⅲ and 11 Ⅳ.The efficacies different subtypes analyzed.Results location severity confirmed by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) + cholangiography.Sixteen ( including 7 9 Ⅳ) transferred surgical due severe stricture.A total 111 underwent successfully,with success rate 87.4% (111/127).The rates Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ Ⅳ strictures 95% (57/60),86% (30/35),9/14and 1/2,respectively.Twenty-nine implanted retrievable metallic stent,and 82 implantated plastic stent.Of patients,only 6 complicated acute pancreatitis,and they cured conservative treatment.The alleviative yellow skin icteric sclera,tenderness distending pain right upper quadrant,fever 73% (81/111 ),83% (74/89),90% (73/81 ) 89%(68/76) 1 week treatment,and 88% (98/111),91% (81/89),94% (76/81) 92%(70/76) 8 weeks was good in 97 poor 14 patients,and converted open surgery.The symptoms completely alleviated postoperative month 6.Conclusion Endoscopic is safe effective.
