To analyze the association between platelet count of peripheral blood and clincopathologic parameters esophageal carcinoma.Platelets were measured in 415 cases carcinoma 325 healthy subjects as control. The correlation counts clinicopathological features cancer was analyzed.Platelet patients with carcinomas (286+/-88)x10(9)/L significantly higher than that control [(204+/-114)x10(9)/L, P<0.05 ]. Increased (>300 x 10(9)/L) associated tumor infiltration lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).Platelet might be development progression cancer.
