ABSTRACT
To observe the changes in Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs brains of 3 month-old APPswe/PS1dE9 double transgenic mice after six-month intervention with curcumin, order to discuss neuroprotective effect curcumin.APPswe/PS1dE9dtg were randomly divided into model group, Rosiglitazone group (10 mg x kg(-1) d(-1)) curcumin high (400 kg9-1) d(-1)), medium (200 low (100 dosage groups, C57/BL6J same age background normal control group. After 6 months, immunohistochemical staining (IHC) Western blot method used positive cell hippocampal CA1 area, their distribution protein expressions. Both showed more area higher expressions than (P < 0.01). IHC a lower result 0.05), while much The number cells decreased significant decrease 0.01), dose also reductions Aβ40 Aβ42.The can significantly reduce mice. Whether impact Aβ cascade reaction by down-regulating show needs further studies.
