ABSTRACT
The yeast galactose network has provided many insights into how eukaryotic gene circuits regulate metabolic function. However, there is currently no consensus model of the that incorporates protein dilution due to cellular growth. We address this by adapting a well-known and having it account for growth benefit burden expression proteins. Modifying incorporate transport basal Gal1p production allows us better reproduce experimental observations. Incorporating rate effect demonstrates native can optimize in different environments. These findings advance our quantitative understanding network, implement general approach analysing balance between costs benefits range control networks.
