ABSTRACT
Although abnormal head and neck postures are defining features of cervical dystonia (CD), tremor (HT) is also common. However, little known about the relationship between HT in CD.We analyzed clinical data video recordings from 185 patients enrolled by Dystonia Coalition. We calculated likelihood their type ("regular" vs. "jerky") given directionality postures, disease duration, sex, age.Patients with retrocollis were more likely to have than anterocollis (X2 (1, N = 121) 7.98, p 0.005). There was no difference left or right turning laterocollis rotation. Patients had longer duration (t(183) 2.27, 0.024). age without HT. In a logistic regression model, anterocollis/retrocollis direction 6.04, 0.014), 7.28, 0.007), interaction term 7.77, 0.005) collectively contributed likelihood. None postural demographic variables associated differential having regular versus jerky HT.We found that for CD specific predominant posture. Our finding higher raises question whether becomes over time individual patients.
