We investigate the Pomeranchuk instability (PI) in two-dimensional extended Hubbard model with frustration using variational cluster approach. We advance the theory that achieving quantum Hall effect in silicone can be possible. investigate a bulk band gap reopened by regulating optical and exchange field.
