A novel process for the coupling treatment of coal gangue and red mud is reported. Red containing 23.4% Al2O3, 19.1% SiO2, 9.4% Na2O by weight was used as blended ingredients alumina extraction. Calcination with addition Na2CO3 at 850 °C could obtain more than 90% Al2O3 Nevertheless, high consumption equivalent to same amount gangue. Both nepheline sodium aluminum silicate formed during have molecular structure NaAlSiO4. The 1:1:1 theory molar ratio Na, Al, Si suggested that minimum might be...
Abstract Desulfurization gypsum, a byproduct of flue gas desulfurization in thermal power plants, poses potential environmental risks due to its heavy metal content. Therefore, systematic analysis the physicochemical properties gypsum is essential, with specific focus on content, occurrence form, and leaching characteristics. The results indicate that powdery particle high water primarily composed CaSO 4 ·2H 2 O ·0.5H O. content from Shanxi province consistently follows order Pb > Zn As...
The Rietveld method based on X-ray diffraction (XRD) technology has been commonly applied for the quantitative analysis of crystalline minerals in organic-rich rocks. presence organic matter, however, interference varying degree to result. In this work, mixed samples matter and at given proportions were prepared investigate effect coal gangue. relative standard deviation (RSD) absolute error (AE) used evaluate precision accuracy results showed that led a reduction accuracy. It was attributed...
Abstract In the study, desilication liquids and acid‐leached residues derived from “alumina extraction process” of coal fly ash (CFA) were used as raw materials to prepare sodium silicate precursor. Then, mesoporous silica with controllable pore structure properties was synthesized by an efficient, template‐free process obtained silicate. The effect synthesis conditions on disordered investigated. resulting material characterized N 2 adsorption–desorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM),...
A clear understanding of the solid-state reaction kaolinite (Kln), quartz (Qtz), and sodium carbonate (Na 2 CO 3 ) is great significance for process optimization coal gangue calcined with Na . In this work, a comparative study isothermal systems Kln–Na Kln–Qtz–Na was performed by means X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope, energy dispersion spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). The results showed that products both these mainly contain different kinds aluminum silicates (e.g., NaAlSiO 4 ,...
