This letter proposes a fast current control scheme for ac drives by minimizing the latency from sampling to updation of pulsewidth-modulation (PWM) command. By reconstructing architecture linear controller, minimal necessary steps obtain output voltage are deduced as <i>primary calculation</i>, and other computation work loop is done in <i>postcalculation</i> after updating PWM With proposed method, computational delay reduced with negligible loss available modulation index, higher stability...
3-phase AC-drives for HVAC applications (Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning) typically employ a passive diode rectifier and an electrolytic DC-link capacitor to filter the rectified line voltage. The DC may be accompanied by AC or DC-chokes harmonic line-current reduction. Recently, commercial drives, where all traditional components are replaced with "small" film capacitor, have emerged. These referred as slim AC-drives. This AC-drive is compared types below.
A novel control method of a three-phase single-switch boost power factor corrector is presented. Using this method, the system operated under variable switching frequency without any current measurement. The input in quasi-critical discontinuous mode, which has low harmonic content. Simulation and experimental results verifying theoretical predictions are also
A saturation allowed output-based event-triggered control for consensus of multi-agent systems (MAS short) design method is proposed in this paper the linear subject to input saturation. We introduced controller into schemes, which an mechanism are designed. The controllers not activated until response system exceeds some pre-defined limitation, rather than periodically sampling as feedback. Also, output feedback scheme MAS mechanism. In case, plant when it really need to, and then employed...
Input saturation and dead-zone phenomena are ubiquitous for the actuators in modern industries military applications. However, most of existing literature, only influence input is considered. In order to overcome adverse effects as well saturation, a multiple activation anti-windup approach that consists immediate, anticipatory delayed activations proposed this paper. These three types compensators designed cascade fashion. By using adaptive simulated annealing (ASA short) algorithms, we...
A multiple activated anti-windup compensated algorithm for Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) mechanism is proposed in this paper. This paradigm extends the multi-activated scheme to active disturbance rejection mechanism, deal with input saturation nonlinearity and meanwhile reject automatically by using Extended State Observer (ESO). The output of compensator treated as a part unknown disturbances introduced into ESO, which can online observe both internal external (parameter...
A saturation allowed scheduled anti-windup design method is proposed in this paper for the linear systems subject to input saturation. We introduced controller into scheme, which a family of controllers are designed. These activated depending on response system, rather than only considering worst noise case off-line. Also, delayed activation scheme mechanism, i.e., physical actuator when it really need to, and then most aggressive activated. In since no hard constraint needed imposed input,...
Aimed at providing a new avenue to achieve consensus of constraint multi-agent systems, ℒ 1 gain design method for distributed event-triggered control mechanism is proposed in this paper. Unlike the classical periodical triggering controller fashion, our scheme, activated only when some pre-defined threshold violated. In very mechanism, observer based adopted under output feedback. The convex...
Low-speed control of direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor (DD-PMSM) is a troublesome problem, partly since the more sensitive to disturbance under low/ultra-low speed situations. To attenuate low-frequency disturbances mechanical system and realize smooth low-speed control, this paper presents strategy using two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) structure. The proposed method directly shapes two closed-loop transfer functions reference tracking rejection with 2-DOF scheme, which improves...
DC-link current sensing enables adjustable speed drives to be designed compactly. Except for the low-impedance earth-fault protection whole drive is protected by a single current-sensing element as well with three sensors on output phases. A new indirect detection method improving of low-side shunt and high-side DC-choke proposed. The analyzed theoretically practically. Test results at 2.2kW 22kW power levels are presented.
This paper considers scheduled anti-windup design of linear systems in the presence input saturation. We introduce controller method into anticipatory scheme. The proposed controllers are triggered depending on response system, rather than only considering worst noise case off-line, and then activating scheme before physical actuator arrives system stability certain levels performance guaranteed under control feedback law is analyzed static compensator, while results presented using matrix...
Behavioral modeling techniques provide a convenient way to predict nonlinear response without the computational complexity of full circuit analysis for power amplifier (PA) with memory effects. A pruning approach Volterra behavioral model is presented by introducing two control factors. It combines called near-diagnonality algorithm and dynamic deviation reduction algorithm, then use “OR” relationship select unknown kernels which are more sensitive output error. The structure can be...
A long cable between an electrical motor and a PWM voltage-source AC-drive is typical in the Heating, Ventilation Air-conditioning (HVAC) segment, especially stressing drive low-power range. Sometimes paralleled cables are desired for powering multiple small motors by one larger AC-drive, which may take stress to undesirable level. By practical test examples, this quantified paper, recommendations best practice field given minimizing problems.
