We derive closed-form expressions for the single-user capacity of maximal ratio combining diversity systems taking into account effect correlation between different branches. consider a Rayleigh fading channel with two kinds correlation: 1) equal branch signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) and same any pair branches 2) unequal SNRs arbitrary such that eigenvalues covariance matrix are all distinct. Three adaptive transmission schemes analyzed: optimal simultaneous power rate adaptation; adaptation...

Experimental studies of the long-term performance such have been done in this paper for sea water and sea-sand concrete coral sand concrete, as elastic modulus, frost resistance corrosion reinforcement behavior. The test results show that compressive modulus are slightly lower than ordinary while adding fly ash or ground slag them lead late slight increase. Compared with after freeze-thaw cycle, mass loss rate strength larger, but reduced by mixing a little high ash. Due to presence Cl-...

In this paper, the mechanical property experiments of concrete based on seawater and sea sand have been carried in different raw materials preparation conservation environments. The results show that early strength late are better than freshwater sand. There is no significant decreased for under accelerated alternating wet dry conditions. For mixed with admixture, downward trend significantly delayed, slag gets most obvious growth trend, while fly ash largest increment.

We investigate the effect of fading correlation and branch gain imbalance on Shannon capacity diversity systems in conjunction with adaptive transmission techniques. This provides theoretical upper bound for spectral efficiency schemes. obtain closed-form expressions this Rayleigh channels under four adaptation policies: optimal power rate (OPRA), constant (ORA), truncated channel inversion fixed (TIFR), complete (CIFR). give numerical examples illustrating main trends offer comparisons...

Atrial fibrillation (AF) can result in life-threatening arrhythmia, and a clinically convenient means for detecting vulnerability remains elusive. We investigated atrial by analyzing the sinus electrogram (EG) from AF animal models using phase synchronization method. Using acetylcholine (ACh)-induced acute canine (n= 4), total of 128 electrical leads were attached to surface anterior posterior atria, pulmonary veins form an electrocardiological mapping system. ACh was injected at varying...

Bolted connections are widely used in multiple engineering fields including aerospace and mechanical due to their numerous advantages like the ability bear relatively heavy loads, low costs, easy installation, implementation. Bolt looseness may lead costly disasters industries some cases of injuries. A new method for bolt detection based on average autocorrelation function is proposed. It does not usually directly extract damage feature from original response signal detect looseness, but it...

In this work, a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is studied with wireless energy harvesting (EH). Specifically, we focus on maximizing the harvested power at receiver by joint optimization of signal covariance, phase shifter, and splitting factor, subject to information rate transmit constraints. The formulated problem hard address due nonconcave objective nonconvex To tackle these challenges, an alternating (AO) framework...
