Network service provisioning becomes flexible and programmable with the help of Function Virfitualization (NFV), since NFV abstracts various functions into software components called Virtual (VNF) VNFs can be flexibly quickly composed to form new services. It is commonly known that sharing same VNF among different services improve resource utilization. However, we should aware such also leads serious preemption. In addition, aggravates generation performance bottleneck, which then causes...

Recently, computation offloading methods have greatly improved the Quality of Experience (QoE) in Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) by tasks to edge servers. Since well-coordinated actions Terminal Devices (TDs) are critical improving performance entire individual system, many practical MEC-based applications, i.e., firefighting robots and unmanned aerial vehicles, require great teamwork among TDs. However, real-world scenarios usually bound resource conditions. For instance, network...

By separating network functionalities from the dedicated hardware and implementing them in form of Virtual Network Function (VNF), Virtualization (NFV) provides a new service paradigm called Service Chain (SFC). It is unrealistic to replace running VNFs due stateful information accumulated, which makes current VNF re-deployment or replacement approaches no longer effective enough. Such situation even worse when are shared. Instead replacing VNFs, this paper proposes migration approach...

Abstract Clustering can help aggregate the topology information and reduce size of routing tables in a mobile ad hoc network (MANET). The maintenance cluster structure should be as stable possible to overhead make less dynamic. Hence, stability measures goodness clustering. However, for complex system like MANET, one clustering metric is far from reflecting dynamics. Some prior works have considered multiple metrics by combining them into weighted sum, which suffers intrinsic drawbacks...

In the software defined network (SDN) environment, function virtualisation enables virtual machine migration. Owing to fact that transferring large amount of data will impede competing workflows, (VNF) migration has brought a new perspective. Many optimised algorithms focusing on limiting time and cost have been proposed. this study, authors address problem from different They view topology global perspective focus effect whole caused by VNF in context SDN. introduce parameter delay...

A differential invariant is a function defined on the jet space of functions that remains same under group action. It an important concept to solve equivalence problem. This paper presents effective method derive special type affine invariants. Given some plane and acting plane, there are induced actions derivative functions. Affine invariants these useful in many applications. However, has been little systematic study this problem at present. No clear simple results available for...

In this paper, we propose a new algorithm, Waveband Routing with Layered Auxiliary Graph (WRLAG), to perform the inter-domain and intra-domain routing in multi-domain optical networks. We present (LAG) that includes one virtual topology layer multiple waveband-plane layers compute single-hop, or multi-hop hybrid waveband route for each request based on sub-path grouping scheme. Simulation results show that, WRLAG can save more switching ports obtain lower blocking probability.
