This study investigates the development and acoustic performance of a layered composite structure composed plastic microfibre pulp (PMFP) metamaterial (PAM), designed for low-frequency sound wave control. Addressing dual challenge reducing waste enhancing absorption, research explores use recycled materials in innovative applications. PMFP was tested various thicknesses, while PAM resonators were 3D-printed with adjustable neck lengths diameters to achieve optimal absorption characteristics....
According to the Waste Management Policy of European Union, recycling and reuse various wastes is considered most ecological advanced waste disposal technology with lowest impact on environment. By applying circular economy principles, plastic will extend its life cycle be used as secondary raw materials create structures good sound insulation absorption properties. Structures created from metamaterial were studied for their sound-absorbing properties in an impedance tube. A combined 100 mm...
Transport noise is a serious problem in cities and has negative impact on both health economics. In addition to the aforementioned unnoticed effects, traffic also been identified as one of leading causes sleep disorders, annoyance cardiovascular effects. This research consists three parts: part involves onsite measurements Trakai town; two simulates at different average vehicle speeds; assesses number people affected by noise. The carried-out simulation demonstrated that level changes very...
According to the Waste Management Policy of European Union, recycling and reuse various wastes is considered most environmentally friendly advanced waste disposal technology that has least impact on environment. By applying principles Circular Economy, plastic will extend its life cycle be used as secondary materials create metamaterial structures with improved sound absorption insulation properties. Acoustic resonators, created from plastic, were measured in an impedance tube according...
Abstract According to the Waste Management Policy of European Union, recycling and reuse various wastes is considered most environmentally friendly advanced waste disposal technology that has least impact on environment. By applying principles Circular Economy, plastic will extend its life cycle be used as secondary materials create metamaterial structures with improved sound absorption insulation properties. The aim this study was determine potential for use in acoustic structures. Acoustic...
Noise – messy loud noises of different frequencies, which have various types pressure, can be felt as air vibrations or sounds that interfere with human comfort. This kind noise transferred through building construction and/or directly to the ear. To prevent minimise transfer, sound insulation considerate should improved. The accumulation plastic waste and lack proper disposal methods has created a critical unprecedented problem where enters our water resources, overflows landfills, leaches...
Darbe nagrinėjamos susidariusių plastiko atliekų naudojimo galimybės pastatų vidaus akustinėms savybėms gerinti. Darbo tikslas – apžvelgti esamą susidarymo ir perdirbimo problematiką, išanalizuoti kitų mokslininkų tyrimus žiedinės ekonomikos antrinių žaliavų akustikoje tematika. Atliekant literatūros analizę buvo išnagrinėtos pastebėtos bendros tendencijos. Išnagrinėtos pagrindinės garso izoliacijos medžiagų sugerties savybės, jų parametrai įtaka akustikai. Pateiktas savybių pritaikomumas...
