For too long the health library has been seen as a low priority in hospital budgets when competing with clinical and environmental services. During my training locum work visiting many libraries, I found physical space staffing of are unrelated to sizes, although libraries smaller hospitals tend be lacklustre often small room at far end campus, limited opening hours.
