Abstract The electrical dipole relaxation in PMMA has been studied by measuring thermostimulated depolarizing currents. A master curve for the segmental component of dielectric constant constructed. increment permittivity due to α‐relaxation determined. distribution function times and average region from 70°C up T g = 105°C have obtained. way describing electret properties polymer is discussed.
Electroless deposition onto polycrystalline (Cu, Au) and amorphous (Ni-P) substrates was applied to prepare Co-W-P coatings of two types: crystalline (hexagonal close packed, hcp), with low phosphorus content about 2.4–2.7 atom %, amorphous, P concentration within 7.4–8.3 %. Tungsten varied typically in the narrow range 2.9–3.7 % both types coatings. Atomic force microscopy revealed substantial difference their morphology. Polycrystalline consist grains stacked plates (lamellas), confirmed...
Electrоdeposited Zn–Cr alloy coatings, containing 3.6, 5.4 and 9.4 mass % Cr were analysed by DSC XRD. X-ray diffraction patterns of the samples show that when they are annealed to selected temperatures before after heat flow peaks curve, there is an irreversible transition in all three alloys from η-(Zn, Cr) ζ-CrZn 13 phase. With increasing content, start shifted higher (from 180 250°С). The η-(Zn) phase predominant with lowest content Cr. In case highest typical XRD lines appear along...
Abstract The aim of the present contribution is to analyze and correlate experimental evidence on catalyzed nucleation in crystallization undercooled melts. This done by using a new, generalized theoretical approach accounting for both thermodynamics adhesion (i.e. interface bonding) correcting structural factors. Beside usually considered lattice discrepancy substrate/overgrowing crystal as an additional corrective introduced polarizability building units constituents. It shown that such...
The kinetics of structural, relaxation poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is studied and it shown that the activation energy process depends on structural temperature T f . A new method proposed allowing measurement experimentally how decreases with increasing dependence glass transition g heating rate q+ investigated for samples were previously cooled down at a q = 12.5 K/min. It found E (250 ± 10%) kJ/mol T=386K. On other hand, value apparent ”activation energy” obtained from cooling -...
