A neural network with a single layer of hidden units gaussian type is proved to be universal approximator for real-valued maps defined on convex, compact sets R n .
Intraband photoconductivity of high-purity $n$- and $p$-type InSb (${n}_{e,h}\ensuremath{\approx}{10}^{13}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$) induced by C${\mathrm{O}}_{2}$ laser radiation has been investigated in magnetic fields up to 20 T, exhibiting a number sharp resonances. These are shown be associated with free-electron LO-phonon-assisted spin-conserving spin-flip transitions as well impurity excitations. Phonon-assisted hole have also observed. The selection rules for intraband...
Sufficient conditions are given for the emergence of asymptotically synchronous chaotic orbits in ensembles identical dynamical systems with all-to-all interaction.Received 29 June 1990DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevA.42.6260©1990 American Physical Society
Nerve cell ensembles growing in culture on microelectrode arrays allow long-term, multisite monitoring of spontaneous and evoked action potential (spike) activity. These generate complex spatio-temporal spike patterns constitute evolving non-linear non-station-ary dynamical systems. They provide effective platforms for observations the "internal dynamics" neuronal networks, especially pattern generation evolution network organization. Nerves cells cultures form many small clusters (termed...
It is demonstrated theoretically that in a small-gap semiconductor with large spin-orbit interaction energy sufficiently strong transverse electric field destroys the Landau diamagnetic quantization but not Pauli paramagnetic of conduction band. In zero-gap HgTe type below critical strength causes crossing electron and heavy-hole levels, thus inducing semiconductor-semimetal transition.
In this work, optical coatings with a gradient of the refractive index are described. Its aim was to deposit, using RF PECVD method, films variable composition (ranging from silicon carbon-oxide carbon-nitride) for smooth change their properties enabling production filter gradient. For that purpose, two organosilicon compounds, namely tetramethyldisilazane and hexamethyldisilazane, were selected as precursor compounds. The results reveal better materials obtained latter source. Depending on...
General properties of the transmission coefficient an ideal, one-dimensional potential barrier arbitrary shape are studied. It is proved that symmetric perfectly transparent for at least one energy in each band related problem, where periodically continued on whole real axis. Recursion relations obtained coefficients barriers consisting 2k structural units. They used a simple proof showing finite composed m identical units have chaotic behavior almost all energies m→∞ band. There exists,...
In this paper, a very large scale integration chip of an analog image weighted-order statistic (WOS) filter based on cellular neural network (CNN) architecture for real-time applications is described. The has been implemented in CMOS AMS 0.8 /spl mu/m technology. CNN-based consists feedforward nonlinear template B operating within the window 3 times/ pixels around central pixel being filtered. CNN coefficients have realized using programmable coupler circuits. WOS allows processing images...
The present work reports results of an effort to produce a stack multilayer optical filter on poly(ethylene terephtalate) (PET) substrate, using PECVD technique.Titanium dioxide type material (n550 = 2.3) has been selected for high refractive index layers while that silicon 1.4) served as low films. For synthesis the former material, titanium tetrachloride with excess gaseous oxygen was taken precursor system, and mixture hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) used system deposition latter one.The...
We present an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) CMOS chip that implements a synchronized oscillator cellular neural network with matrix size of 32 × for object sensing and labeling in binary images. Networks oscillators are recently developed tool image segmentation analysis. Its parallel operation is based on “temporary correlation” theory attempts to describe scene recognition as if performed by the human brain. The oscillations neuron groups attract person’s attention he or...
A model for a three-component solution is considered in which the bonds of square or cubic lattice are covered by molecules types $\mathrm{AA}$, $\mathrm{BB}$, and $\mathrm{AB}$. The ends near common site interact with energies ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{\mathrm{AA}}$, ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{\mathrm{BB}}$, ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{\mathrm{AB}}$. It shown there no demixing transition if...
A lattice gas with two different sizes of interacting particles on a square is studied. Two large are excluded from occupying pair nearest neighbor sites and repel if they occupy next sites. small particle site repels both which Using reflection positivity the Peierls argument, as many five types ordered phases proved to exist at sufficiently low temperatures. The model may be useful for description competitive adsorption gaseous mixture containing adatoms radii.
