Abstract Herein, nitrogen, sulfur co‐doped carbon dots (N,S−CDs) have been synthesized by a cost‐natural fabrication method using waste orange‐peel as natural‐carbon‐precursor. Graphene-like porous carbon with fine-tuned 3D ion highways was synthesized from orange-peel wastes. The obtained energy and power density values are comparable to those of commercial high-performance supercapacitors as well lead-acid nickel-metal hybrid batteries.
