Abstract Silicon (Si), as one of the most promising anode candidates, is expected to improve energy density Li−ion batteries due its high specific capacity (≈4200 mAh g −1 ). However, cyclic performance Si unsatisfactory for practical usage inadequate toughness when exceeding mass loading beyond 2 mg cm −2 , which triggers unceasing electrode breakage. Here, a biomimetic created by interconnecting vertically aligned graphene oxide sheets with conductive carbon nanotubes (AGO−Si/C). Unlike...

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has been widely used in biomedicine during the last two decades. While direct treatment reported to promote wound healing, its application can be uneven and inconvenient. In this study, we first activated water with a portable dielectric barrier discharge device evaluated inactivation effect of plasma-activated (PAW) on several kinds bacteria that commonly infect wounds. The results show PAW effectively inactivate these bacteria. Then, tap examined efficacy...

Abstract Methamphetamine (METH), a widely abused stimulant drug, induces psychosis in approximately half of abusers; this effect is becoming major concern for society. Although the Notch1 signalling pathway has been shown to play part pathogenesis some psychiatric disorders, its role METH-induced (MIP) still unknown. Here, locomotor sensitization model rodents considered represent underlying neurochemical changes driving psychoses. We found that was downregulated medial prefrontal cortex...

We present a facile fabrication process to directly fabricate cone-shaped microwells arrays on single crystal Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ (YAG:Ce) ceramic phosphor platelets (CPPs) by short-pulse laser direct patterning. Compared unpatterned YAG:Ce CPP with smooth surface, the forward-to-total ratio of emission photons patterned CPPs was enhanced from 53.2% up 78.2%, and total within 4-π degree is 6% higher. The fabricated patterns are also beneficial in increasing color conversion efficiency 7.6%....

Infection can hinder the process of wound healing, so it is important to begin antibacterial treatment quickly after a forms. Plasma activated water (PAW) inactivate variety common infection bacteria. In this study, we compared effects PAW prepared with portable surface discharge plasma equipment and medical alcohol on healing in mouse full-thickness skin model. The effectiveness processes mice was ranked accordingly: group > control group. order further understand mechanism promoting...

In recent years, the emerging technology of cold atmospheric pressure plasma (CAP) has grown rapidly along with many medical applications (e.g., cancer, skin disease, tissue repair, etc.). Plasma-activated liquids culture media, water, or normal saline, previously exposed to plasma) are being studied as cancer treatments, and due their advantages, researchers prefer plasma-activated an alternative CAP in treatment cancer. this study, we showed that plasma-activated-saline (PAS) significantly...

Macromolecular antibacterial materials have good application prospects in the field of biomedical due to their biocompatibility. In this work, a series based on HA been prepared through covalent or dynamic imine bonding. The results activity screening show that OHA and L-Arginine conjugates connected bond (OHA-Arg) possess excellent biocompatibility against S. aureus (MIC = 4 mg/mL). Additionally, hydrogel OHA-Arg 4-arm-PEG227-Hy can be crosslinking network acylhydrazone bond, lays...
