All-fiber magnetic-field sensor based on a device consisting of microfiber knot resonator and magnetic fluid is proposed for the first time in this Letter. Sensor principles package technology are introduced detail. Experimental results show that resonance wavelength regularly varies with changes to applied field. When field increased 600 Oe, shift reaches nearly 100 pm. Moreover, responding 50 Hz alternating also experimentally investigated, minimal detectable strength 10 Oe successfully achieved.

We demonstrate a novel compact optical magnetic field sensor composed of single-mode microfiber sagnac loop interferometer (SMSLI) and ferrofluid (FF).
