A pyrrolidine and Pd catalyzed diastereoselective carbocyclization of aldehyde ketone-linked allenes has been developed. Stereochemically-pure 2'-O-(2-methoxyethyl)-phosphorothioate (PS-MOE) oligonucleotides were synthesized from new chiral oxazaphospholidine-containing nucleosides.
