Charcoal rot is one of the most destructive fungal diseases soybean, caused by pathogen called Macrophomina phaseolina. This disease thrives in warm and dry conditions, affecting yield soybean other important agronomic crops. Existing methods used to screen suffer from several drawbacks including, manual rating, low accuracy, high operating time, system complexity. To circumvent these drawbacks, we developed a laser biospeckle based sensor characterize charcoal crop. Applicability proposed...

Conventional biometric spoof detection sensors suffer from several problems, including complex expensive sensor assembly and design. They are susceptible to environmental perturbation not robust against all types of attacks. Further, for a secured sensor, the hierarchy spoofing attempts (i.e., curious attempts, low-level attack, high-level attack) needs be precisely distinguished perform different actions (e.g., attack should handled carefully). In this article, we propose novel three-level...

With the rapid advancement in technology it is easy to take pictures, and easier still share them with world at large. In this digital age image data we have has grown manifold over past few years. Digital Cameras allowed capturing storing of large number images highly inexpensive hence can't go on a trip without taking several hundreds photographs. We repeated shots till find perfect one. As result, collection end up having recurring similar which would like omit. Manually going through...

Phase-shifting techniques are one of the most promising strategies to extract phase information and retrieve parameters interest (e.g., refractive index, beam collimation, object shape, deformations, thickness, focal length, etc.) from interferograms. However, traditional phase-shifting suffer both internal external noise, which reduce measurement accuracy. This paper reports a comparative analysis three commonly used filtering techniques, namely, Fourier, windowed wavelet for noise...

This paper reports a nearly Fourier transform limited CW mode locked Cr:forsterite laser at 1282 nm, with 131 fs pulse duration, based on self-shortening and transverse degeneracy (TMD) driven locking, operating near the point of fourth-order TMD. The cavity employs combination instantaneous intensity self-shortening, operation right side TMD, to generate self-amplitude modulation necessary for self-mode locking.

Music is one of the basic human needs for recreation and entertainment. As song files are digitalized now a days, digital libraries expanding continuously, which makes it difficult to recall song. Thus need new classification system other than genre very obvious mood based serves purpose well. In this paper we will present well-defined architecture classify songs into different mood-based categories, using audio content analysis, affective value lyrics map onto psychological-based emotion...

To assess the effect of biotic stress on germination capability seeds, laser biospeckle technique was used. Soybean seeds were artificially inoculated by Colletotrichum truncatum fungal spores and irradiated light. Backscattered light from seed recorded in form speckle patterns analyzed using subtraction average method image analysis. It found that exhibits strong potential for testing pathogenicity various fungi to germplasm so resistivity towards pathogen can be estimated.

Sensing systems for AUVs are deeply researched but post mission deployment recovery these vehicles equally important. This paper presents a low-cost system designed to provide location discovery capabilities AUVs. The discussed relies on inter-aural time differentiation of sonar pulses received by the AUV from beacon.

All data sent to and from IOT devices, (as well as any held), must be encrypted in order enhance the security of devices. At moment, elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECCs) are used fundamental building blocks secure communication Internet Things. Yet, forthcoming quantum computers can quickly compromise public key systems like ECC. We should take action right away get ready for future due recent developments computing. In this paper, we demonstrate the application of fringe projection profilometry (FPP) for secured 3D biometric fingerprint recognition system. For extraction texture as well high frequency information in a practical system simple Fourier filtering methods have been used. We also address issue 2D photo and video attacks, which implies presenting photograph or before authentication to get un-authorize access. Using developed spoof detection technique, becomes more credible secure, can be used...
