Three distinctive phases of BHA reactivity toward UV/ S2O8(2-) at acidic, neutral, and basic pH range were examined, where 80-100% mineralization has been observed within an hour irradiation under 254 nm. A reduction in solution during the reaction was mainly due to complete conversion sulfate ion together with proton generation. Seven measurable intermediates found via oxidation dimerization process all tested levels. The decay mechanisms are quite different acidic condition other There...

In this paper, we propose a probabilistic kernel approach to preference learning based on Gaussian processes. A new likelihood function is proposed capture the relations in Bayesian framework. The generalized formulation also applicable tackle many multiclass problems. overall has advantages of methods for model selection and prediction. Experimental results compared against constraint classification several benchmark datasets verify usefulness algorithm.

In this letter, we propose two new support vector approaches for ordinal regression, which optimize multiple thresholds to define parallel discriminant hyperplanes the scales. Both guarantee that are properly ordered at optimal solution. The size of these optimization problems is linear in number training samples. sequential minimal algorithm adapted resulting problems; it extremely easy implement and scales efficiently as a quadratic function examples. results numerical experiments on some...

Abstract TiO 2 , as a benchmark in the field of ultraviolet photocatalysis, is one most widely used semiconductor photocatalysts. However, its inherent drawbacks, including wide bandgap and fast recombination charge carriers, lead to underutilization solar light. Increasing overall spectrum utilization especially near‐infrared region (NIR, ≈52%), key efficient energy conversion. In this review, strategies enhance NIR light capture ‐based photocatalysts, hybridization with narrow optical gap...
