Abstract Insufficient drug loading and leakage of payload remain major challenges in designing liposome-based delivery systems. These phenomena can limit duration effect cause toxicity. Targeting the rate-limiting step release from liposomes, we modify (aromatized) them to have aromatic groups within their lipid bilayers. Aromatized liposomes are designed with synthetic phospholipids covalently conjugated onto acyl chains. The optimized aromatized liposome increases significantly decreases...

Abstract Background The connection between lipid-related obesity indices and severe headache or migraine in young middle-aged people aged 20–60 remains ambiguous, there are gaps the discriminative ability of different indicators for headaches migraines. Consequently, we set out to look into this association utilizing National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) data from 1999 2004. Methods After values waist-to-height ratio (WHtR), body-mass index (BMI), body roundness (BRI),...

microRNAs play an important role in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In this study, we found that miR-582-5p expression was downregulated hepatoma tissues and HCC cell lines. Upregulation reduced colony number, inhibited cellular proliferation, arrested cycle G0/G1 phase. When inhibited, number increased proliferation were promoted. Further studies showed regulated through directly inhibiting CDK1 AKT3, indirectly cyclinD1.

Designing a targeted and versatile photothermal agent for the integration of precise diagnosis effective treatment tumors is desirable but remains great challenge. In this study, folic acid ligand conjugated lipid-coated polyaniline hybrid nanoparticles (FA-Lipid-PANI NPs) were successfully fabricated by distinctive technology. The obtained FA-Lipid-PANI NPs with small size exhibited not only significant photoacoustic (PA) imaging signals, also remarkable effect tumor treatment. With PA...

Myocardial hypoxia is an attractive target for diagnostic and prognostic imaging, but current approaches are insufficiently sensitive clinical use. The PET tracer copper(II)-diacetyl-bis(N4-methylthiosemicarbazone) (64Cu-ATSM) has promise, its selectivity sensitivity could be improved by structural modification. We have therefore evaluated a range of 64Cu-ATSM analogs imaging hypoxic myocardium. <b>Methods:</b> Isolated rat hearts (<i>n</i> = 5/group) were perfused with...

Cu-containing zeolites are often synthesized by two methods: ion exchange or one-pot synthesis. The former contains zeolite synthesis and in steps. For the latter method, of Cu based is more convenient. However, content very difficult to control. In this work, we developed a facile dual-template strategy design synthesize Cu-ZSM-5-D catalysts order achieve better ammonia selective catalytic reduction (NH3-SCR) performance, compared with Cu/ZSM-5 via traditional method. Furthermore, directly...

Abstract: Liposomal nanoparticles are versatile drug delivery vehicles that show great promise in cancer therapy. In an effort to quantitatively measure their vivo pharmacokinetics, we developed a highly efficient 89 Zr liposome-labeling method based on rapid ligand exchange reaction between the membrane-permeable Zr(8-hydroxyquinolinate)4 complex and hydrophilic liposomal cavity-encapsulated deferoxamine (DFO). This novel Zr-labeling strategy allowed us prepare radiolabeled forms of folic...
