Quantum discord provides a measure for quantifying quantum correlations beyond entanglement and is very hard to compute even two-qubit states because of the minimization over all possible measurements. Recently simple algorithm evaluate X-states proposed by Ali, Rau Alber [Phys. Rev. A 81, 042105 (2010)] with taken only few cases. Here we shall at first identify class X-states, whose can be evaluated analytically without any minimization, which their valid, also family fails. And then...
Quantum key distribution (QKD) provides information-theoretic security based on the laws of quantum mechanics. The desire to reduce costs and increase robustness in realworld applications has motivated study coexistence between QKD intense classical data traffic a single fiber.Previous works metropolitan areas have used wavelength-division multiplexing, however, backbone fiber networks remains great experimental challenge, as Tbps up 20 dBm optical power is transferred, much more noise...
Quantum key distribution (QKD) generates symmetric keys between two remote parties, and guarantees the not accessible to any third party. Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) QKD classical optical communications by sharing existing fibre optics infrastructure is highly desired in order reduce cost of applications. However, quantum signals are extremely weak thus easily affected spontaneous Raman scattering effect from intensive light. Here, means wavelength selecting spectral temporal...
The design–build (DB) delivery method has been widely used in the United States due to its reputed superior cost and time performance. However, rigorous studies have produced inconclusive support only terms of overall results, with few attempts being made relate project characteristics performance levels. This paper provides a larger more finely grained analysis set 418 DB projects from online database Design–Build Institute America (DBIA), time-overrun rate (TOR), early start (ESR),...
Abstract Quantum key distribution (QKD) enables secure exchanges between two remote users. The ultimate goal of communication is to establish a global quantum network. existing field tests suggest that networks are feasible. To achieve practical network, we need overcome several challenges including realizing versatile topologies for large scales, simple network maintenance, extendable configuration and robustness node failures. this end, present operation metropolitan-area with 46 nodes...
Increasing the salt concentration of an electrolyte to over 10 M brings new solute-solvent interactions that define emerging class super-concentrated electrolytes for rechargeable batteries. To this we introduce a alkaline electrolyte. Nearly saturated with KOH (at 15 M), aqueous solution displays broad electrochemical stability window (>2.5 V on Au) while retaining exceptionally high ionic conductivity (>0.27 S/cm at 25 °C). Without solid-electrolyte interphase, can confirm role electron...
We show that a single Bell's inequality with two dichotomic observables for each observer, which originates from Hardy's nonlocality proof without inequalities, is violated by all entangled pure states of given number particles, may have different energy levels. Thus Gisin's theorem proved in its most general form it follows and quantum entanglement are equivalent.
Abstract Developing high‐performance donor polymers is important for nonfullerene organic solar cells (NF‐OSCs), as state‐of‐the‐art acceptors can only perform well if they are coupled with a matching suitable energy levels. However, there very limited choices of NF‐OSCs, and the most commonly used ones named PM6 PM7, which suffer from several problems. First, performance these (particularly PM7) relies on precise control their molecular weights. Also, optimal morphology extremely sensitive...
In this paper, we present a systematic way based on the nonbinary graph state of constructing good quantum codes, both additive and nonadditive, for systems with integer dimensions. With computer search, which results in many interesting codes including some nonadditive meeting Singleton bounds, are able to construct explicitly four families optimal namely, ${[[6,2,3]]}_{p}$, ${[[7,3,3]]}_{p}$, ${[[8,2,4]]}_{p}$, ${[[8,4,3]]}_{p}$ any odd dimension $\mathit{p}$ family ${((5,p,3))}_{p}$...
This study deals with the idea that comprehensive knowledge representation should be established for fault diagnosis. Sufficient grid information including network topology and protection are used a diagnostic algorithm. In this way, diagnosis programme not only facilitates accurate judgment of sections which many kinds available but also optimises to simplify method. Petri nets logical reasoning on basis representation, can judge elements accurately even when protective relays circuit...
We report the first nonadditive quantum error-correcting code, namely, a ((9, 12, 3)) code which is 12-dimensional subspace within 9-qubit Hilbert space, that outperforms optimal stabilizer of same length by encoding more levels while correcting arbitrary single-qubit errors. Taking advantage graph states, we construct explicitly complete encoding-decoding circuit for proposed code.
In this Letter we propose a set of conditions on the joint probabilities as test genuine multipartite nonlocality without inequality. Our is failed by all nonsignaling local models in which even nonlocal correlations among some observables (not all) are allowed long these respect principle. A pass our state therefore indicates that cannot be simulated any models; i.e., exhibits nonlocality. It turns out entangled symmetric n-qubit (n≥3) states and n-way nonlocal. Also construct two Bell-type...

During the past decades significant efforts have been made to propose data structures for answering connectivity queries on fully dynamic graphs, i.e., graphs with frequent insertions and deletions of edges. However, a comprehensive understanding how these perform in practice is missing, since not all them implemented, let alone evaluated experimentally. We provide reference implementations proposed experimentally evaluate wide range graphs. Our findings show that current solutions are ready...
