Physiological signals often show complex fluctuation (CF) under the dual influence of temporal and spatial scales, CF can be used to assess health physiologic systems in human body. This study applied multiscale cross-approximate entropy (MC-ApEn) quantify between R-R intervals series photoplethysmography amplitude series. All subjects were then divided into following two groups: healthy upper middle-aged (Group 1, age range: 41-80 years, n = 27) with type 2 diabetes 2, 24). There are...
The novel concept of pseudoerrors for a self-organizing neuro-fuzzy system (SO-NFS) is proposed tracking control problem. To demonstrate the approach, an example motion auto-warehousing crane illustrated, which can move back and forth in x,y, z directions to access store cargoes. SO-NFS shows excellent performance different loading conditions varying distances all directions.
A 156MW steam cycle power plant has been chosen as a case study. Two repowering scenarios have utilized for this case. Thermodynamics code supplied combined and STIG compare with each others. The exergy exergoeconomic analysis method was applied in order to evaluate the proposed repowered plant. Also; computer developed analysis. It is anticipated that results provide insights useful designers into relations between thermodynamic losses capital costs; it also helps demonstrate merits of...

This paper presents a new inlier-based outlier detection scheme for the analysis of abnormal behavior in crowded scenes. First, we segment video into set cubes, and then extract three feature descriptors from each cube, including histogram oriented gradients (HOG), motion directions, magnitude descriptors. Thereafter, descriptor Kullback-Leibler importance estimation procedure (KLIEP) is employed to compute ratio test training densities, referred as importance, instead computing these two...
Introduction to Computer Science (ICS) is a compulsory course for freshmen of the electrical engineering (EE) department at our institute, which lays foundation more advanced courses. To arouse interest and learning initiative students, an optional "Special Practical Experiment in (SPECS)" practice was introduced 2010, emphasizing integration concepts with hands-on practice. Questionnaires on teacher evaluation were given students nearing end ICS evaluate their satisfaction teaching...
