Abstract Photocatalytic degradation is one of the effective methods to remove various pollutants from domestic and industrial effluents. Several operational parameters can affect efficiency photocatalytic degradation. Performing experimental obtain percentage (%degradation) in different operating conditions costly time-consuming. For this reason, use computational models very useful present %degradation conditions. In our previous work, Fe 3 O 4 /TiO 2 nanocomposite containing amounts silver...
The synthesis and structural elucidation of some novel 5,5′‐disubstituted spiro nonspiro‐bis‐hydantoins are reported. Bucherer Burge's method has been modified for the preparation 5,5′‐substituted bis(imidazolidine‐2,4‐dione) derivatives starting with diketones ( 1–5 ) dialdehydes 6 , 7 ). In cases, diastereoisomeric mixtures compounds were obtained. resulting bis‐hydantoins 8–11 13 14 have not to our knowledge previously reported in literature.
Fe 3 O 4 /TiO 2 /Ag nanocomposites with different amounts of silver were prepared using the sol-gel method.X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission diffuse reflectance Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface areas, and vibration sample magnetometry used to characterize these nanocomposites.Photocatalytic activity was examined via decomposing solution 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) exposed UV/Vis irradiation.Exposing pure TiO...
This study presents a multicomponent photocatalytic system using simple impregnation-calcination of Cu 2 O particles followed by photodeposition different amounts Ag on TiO nanoparticles (TCA(a) samples) with high efficiency for 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) degradation under visible light. The obtained samples were characterized through X-ray diffraction, field-emission scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive spectroscopy, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance N physisorption, and transmission...
Re-examination of the facile one-pot synthesis hydantoins is considered. An efficient method was utilized for starting with ketones (3), ( 7), 10a)-(14a), benzoin (8), benzil (9), phenanthrene-9,10-dione (4) and aldehydes (15a)-(17a).Two main convenient procedures using either i) KCN (NH 4 ) 2 CO 3 or ii) urea NaOH, EtOH were examined.
An easy method was developed for the efficient preparation of diversely new 5,5-disubstituted N(3),N'(3)-linkaged bis-hydantoins. At first, using same methods, some ketones and terephthalaldehyde were converted to several hydantoins a bis-hydantoin , respectively. Then 1,6-dibromohexane, as mild reagent, employed alkylation incorporation synthesized substrates produce quantitative yields desired A tetrakis-hydantoin including four effective heterocyclic rings also surprisingly from...
In this work, we focused on improvement of rutile-type TiO2 degradation efficiency by cobalt doping and decorating carbon nanotubes walls (CNTs) (Co-TiO2/CNTs). X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), diffuse reflectance (DRS), nitrogen physisorption were used to characterize the prepared samples. The XRD results indicated after doping, obtained rutile phase as major for containing band gap synthesized samples...
In this work, we focused on improvement of rutile-type TiO2 degradation efficiency by cobalt doping and decorating carbon nanotubes walls (CNTs) (Co-TiO2/CNTs). We also synthesized pure TiO2, Co-TiO2 TiO2/CNTs samples for control experiments. The textural morphology features the were characterized a range analyses including: XRD, FESEM/EDX. FTIR, TEM, UV-Vis DRS N2 physisorption. XRD results indicated that obtained rutile phase as major with crystal size between 18-22 nm. band gap energy...
Three successive treatments were applied to modify the orange peel (OP) residues using NaOH, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), and Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles for removal of basic blue 9 (BB9). The structure morphology chemically modified adsorbents investigated various analytical techniques including PXRD, FTIR, FESEM/EDAX, VSM, N 2 physisorption analyses. BB9 by was modeled two machine learning (ML) approaches. A gradient boosting regression tree (GBRT) model 8 extreme (XGBoost) optimal adsorbent...
