We report a community pertussis outbreak that occurred in small town located the northwest of Ireland. Epidemiological investigations suggest waning immunity and absence booster dose during second year life could have contributed to outbreak. The also highlights need reinforce surveillance Ireland especially improve clinical laboratory diagnosis cases.
