Abstract Sex reversal, representing extraordinary sexual plasticity during the life cycle, not only triggers reproduction in animals but also affects reproductive and endocrine system-related diseases cancers humans. reversal has been broadly reported animals; however, an integrated resource hub of sex information is still lacking. Here, we constructed a comprehensive database named ASER (Animal Reversal) by integrating reversal-related data 18 species from teleostei to mammalia. We...

Effective cancer immunotherapy relies on enhancing the host's immune response, particularly by boosting T cell-mediated cytotoxicity against tumor cells. In this study, we identify CWF19-like cell cycle control factor 1 (CWF19L1) as a novel splicing regulator that enhances cytotoxicity. CWF19L1 interacts prominently with key factors within nucleus, including components of U5 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein and pre-mRNA processing 19 (PRPF19) complex. Deficiency disrupts alternative...
RNA splicing is a crucial posttranscriptional process that governs gene expression, and defects in alternative contribute to various diseases, including cancer. Tumor suppressing subtransferable candidate 4 (TSSC4) known tumor suppressor has been identified as part of the U5 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNP), which involved tri-snRNP biogenesis. However, precise role TSSC4 regulating its impact on growth remain unclear.
Ethnopharmacological relevance: Hard antler extract, a well-known traditional Chinese medicine, has diversified functions of immune-modulatory, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory and anti-stress. However, the effect HAE on hormone receptor-positive breast cancer not been studied.Aim study: To investigate anti-tumor effects hard extract MCF-7 cells 7,12 dimethylbenz (a) anthracene (DMBA)-induced mammary tumors to explore its potential mechanism. Methods: We tested prepared by sequential...
