NoSQL databases are gaining ground due to the need for several applications manipulate large volumes of data without worrying about database system tuning and scaling. However, many still use relational do not want replace their access methods in order properly on cloud using now a technology. To deal with this problem, relational-cloud mapping strategy, terms model operations, is able provide view data, eliminating adjustments application interface management. SimpleSQL solution...
Changes in climate may have negative effect on livestock that will to adapt more extreme environment the near future. Therefore understanding how different breeds developed mechanisms thrive under conditions help production. This research compared movement, ruminating time and weight gain between 2 breeds, Nellore (indicine, n = 24, 210 ± 15 kg) Angus (taurine, 227 25kg) aging 10 mo kept for 80 d at pasture during tropical spring (average temperature 26°C, maximum 32.2°C, minimum 21.5°C)....
Cerambycidae is one of the largest families Coleoptera, with approximately 38,000 species described. Knowledge fauna in Brazil has increased last 50 years, but some regions, such as Brazilian semi-arid region, remain relatively unexplored. An updated checklist from that based on previously published works, checklists, and catalogs, study 331 specimens 72 species, 58 genera, 26 tribes, three subfamilies deposited collection Zoology Museum Universidade Estadual de Feira Santana provided. This...
A new species, Parahephaestion mimicus sp. nov., is described. Two species are newly recorded for the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais: Sphalloeme costipennis Melzer, 1928 (Cerambycinae, Oemini) and Oreodera omissa 1932 (Lamiinae, Acrocinini). The interaction between the butterfly Fountainea glycerium cratais (Hewitson, 1874) and longhorn beetle Retrachydes thoracicus (Olivier, 1790), simultaneously feeding on exudate of Schinus tree (Anacardiaceae), is herein reported. We also revised literature this topic compile data other species butterflies beetles performing similar type ecological in Neotropical region. Although has been documented as commensalism some literature, paucity observations limits affirmation development...
Abstract We identified mosquito species (Diptera: Culicidae) in an Atlantic Forest fragment located a large urban park Salvador, Brazil, one year after citywide epizootic of yellow fever virus (YFV). Between May 2 and August 2, 2018, adult mosquitoes were collected using the human attraction method, followed by trapping with hand-nets, CO2-baited light traps placed at ground level canopy. total 11,914 mosquitoes, which belonged to three tribes, five genera, least seven species.
