In recent years, recycling of municipal solid waste (MSW) has been recognized as one the most efficient methods management in terms environmental benefits. This study investigates energy savings and other benefits dry MSW collected Shiraz, Iran (2018). The impact different rates (current = 15%, desirable 50%, ideal 80%) on were assessed. annual quantity recycled components defined glass (735 tons), plastic carrier bags (555 cardboard (3,874 paper (3,806 disposable containers (287 types...

In the last decade, use of response surface methodology (RSM) as an advanced technique for designing empirical tests has been developing. Investigations show that RSM is sometimes not used correctly in experiments, developing models, and optimizing various physicochemical processes to remove water wastewater pollutants. Making serious mistakes can lead misleading conclusions, questions validity scientific research. this study, characteristics application decade have systematically...

The aim of this data is comparison achieved from salt iodine measurement by titration method with using sodium thiosulfate in presence lugol׳s reagent and commercial spot- kit. Titration was carried out two different laboratories standard samples. 437 samples including 20 brands were collected throughout Iran. contents the measured both most frequently used spot-kit There no significant differences between results obtained spot-kits (ICC = 0.797). kits sensitivity for determination negative...

While chlorination is critical for water disinfection, a knowledge gap includes the nature of free residual chlorine (FRC) decay, which was investigated using four physical methods (SSA, SSR with and without lid, heating, incubator shaker). Keeping samples in SSA 24 h resulted FRC decline by 62% 51%, respectively. The heterotrophic plate count (HPC) increased significantly between initial (3.17 ± 2.6–3.82 1.1 CFU/mL) final (6.7 1.5–94.7 4.72 both methods. Thermodynamic behavior (ΔH versus...
