Light- and humidity-responsive chiral nematic photonic crystal (PC) films containing cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) were fabricated. A photoactive polymer with hydrophilic groups, poly-(3,3'-benzophenone-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid dicarboxylate polyethylene glycol) ester, was coassembled CNCs to form flexible iridescent a tunable order. In the coassembly process, intermolecular hydrogen bonds of weakened, which facilitated fine regulation PC nanostructure. The displayed sensitive responses both...
Anomaly detection plays a critical role in ensuring safe, smooth, and efficient operation of machinery equipment industrial environments. With the wide deployment multimodal sensors rapid development Internet Things (IoT), data generated modern production has become increasingly diverse complex. However, traditional methods for anomaly based on single source cannot fully utilize to capture anomalies systems. To address this challenge, we propose new model environments using temporal data....
Abstract The predictive and correlative capabilities of two recent versions the free‐volume theory for self‐diffusion in polymer–solvent systems are examined by comparisons with experimental data. Neither Vrentas–Duda nor Paul version generally provides satisfactory predictions temperature concentration variations solvent coefficients. However, does provide good correlations data, and, furthermore, this can if a small amount data is used to help estimate parameters theory. New diffusivity...
Chiral liquid crystal materials that are responsive to environmental stimuli in demand. A chiral photonic membrane based on cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) was prepared by molecule assembly the present work. fluorescent containing a cationic group, [N-(3-N-benzyl-N,N-dimethylpropyl ammonium chloride)-1,8-naphthalimide]hydrazine, assembled surface of CNCs. The new possesses supersensitive multiresponses small molecules, such as water and formaldehyde molecules. appearance, texture,...
Abstract Bio‐inspired in nature, using nanomaterials to fabricate the vivid bionic structural color and intelligent stimulus responsive interface as smart skin or optical devices are widely concerned remain a huge challenge. Here, flexible film is designed fabricated with chiral nanointerface tunable hydrophilic–hydrophobic by ultrasonic energy perturbation strategy crosslinking of cellulose nanocrystals (CNC). An adjustable hydrophilic hydrophobic properties constructed supramolecular...
Vapor sorption data were obtained for the ethylbenzene–poly(ethyl methacrylate) system at 120°C. Successive step-change experiments carried out two-film thicknesses indicate presence of maxima in curves. The fractional amount overshoot decreased as final pressure or weight fraction experiment increased and sample thickness increased. It is proposed that curves are caused by structural rearrangements produced relaxation polymer chains.
3,3′,4,4′-Benzophenone tetracarboxylic acid (BPTCA) could directly react with hydroxyl groups on cellulose to form ester bonds. The modified cotton fabrics not only provided good wrinkle-free and ultraviolet (UV) protective functions, but also exhibited important photochemical properties such as producing reactive oxygen species (ROS) including radicals (HO•) hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) under UV light exposure. amounts of the produced radical were measured, mechanism BPTCA treated was...
The aerial parts of the Argy Worm Wood (AWW) plant have been used in different Chinese foods as a colorant and taste enhancer for long time. Despite its application food colorant, it has rarely considered coloration textiles. Keeping mind variation color strength due to change phytochemical contents by seasonal other variables, extraction AWW was optimized using Taguchi method. Optimization performed on basis total (phenols, flavonoids, tannins) extracted solutions. For this purpose, two...
A series of azo disperse dyes containing different kinds ester groups based on benzisothiazole were synthesized by the coupling reaction diazotization 3-amino-5-nitro [2,1] with N -substituted aniline compounds bearing moieties.
Abstract The smart emulsification and demulsification system with the light response is a useful tool in various industries, including green chemistry, catalytic reaction, pharmaceuticals, environmental remediation. Herein, an ionic liquid crystal compound triggered switch based on azobenzene group [(4‐{3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐(8‐octyloxyoctyl)oxy‐4‐oxobutanoyl]imidazo‐lium‐1‐yl}octyl)oxy] ‐N‐(4‐methylphenyl)benzene‐1,2‐diazene bromide (MOIAzo), was designed synthesized, which could cause reversible...
Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has received great attention due to its photocatalytic properties and visible spectrum absorption. However, it been a challenge for the improvement of electron–hole separation. Herein, hybridized g-C3N4containing boron–carbon quantum dots, integrated with boron-doped dots-modified nanorods (CNRs), was designed fabricated. The boron atoms were doped on then B-CQDs assembled cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) photonic crystals. Using CNC as nanorod template, modified...
