Abstract. Information about the long-term trends of surface and tropospheric ozone is important for assessing impact on human health, vegetation, climate. Long-term measurements from East Asia, especially China's eastern provinces, are urgently needed to evaluate potential changes over this economically rapid developing region. In paper, data Linan Regional Background Station in China analyzed results at station presented. Surface were collected during 6 periods between August 1991 July...

Abstract. Continuous measurements of atmospheric ammonia (NH3) were conducted using Ogawa passive samplers from February 2008 to July 2010 at an urban site and January 2007 a rural in Beijing, China. NH4+ fine particles was also collected the during 2008–2009. The field comparison between active analyzer for NH3 assures quality accuracy measurements. concentrations ranged 0.7 85.1 ppb, with annual average 18.5 ± 13.8 23.5 18.0 ppb 2009, respectively. lower than those site, varied 0.8 42.9...

Abstract. The real-time measurements of NH3 and trace gases were conducted, in conjunction with semi-continuous water-soluble ions PM2.5 at a rural site the North China Plain (NCP) from May to September 2013 order better understand chemical characteristics ammonia impact secondary ammonium aerosols on formation NCP. Extremely high NH4+ concentrations observed after precipitation event within 7–10 days following urea application. Elevated levels coincided elevated NH4+, indicating that likely...

Abstract. Measurements of trace gaseous pollutants were taken at the Shangdianzi site, a WMO Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) background station in Northern China. The results are presented for period from September 2003 to December 2006. Seasonal and diurnal variations O3, NOx, SO2, CO concentration characterized possible causes them discussed. observed levels gases comparable those some other sites polluted regions inside outside It was shown that seasonal variation O3 can change slightly...

The measurement of atmospheric NH3 was conducted by mean passive samplers from September 2009 to December 2010 at Lin'an regional background station located in the economically blooming Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region eastern China. NH4+ fine particles also measured this site. concentration ranged 0.1 41.8 ppb, with annual average 16.5 ± 11.2 ppb 2010. daily concentrations 0.02 19.2 μg/m3, an 4.3 3.5 μg/m3. were highest summer and lowest winter, showing positive correlations agricultural...

Abstract. We present measurement results of trace gaseous pollutants obtained at the Shangdianzi (SDZ) Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) regional station in Northern China, from September 2003 to December 2006. The gases include ozone (O3), nitrogen oxide(s) (NOx=NO+NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and carbon monoxide (CO). During study period, mean annual O3 concentrations were 30.1±21.0, 32.8±19.1 30.9±19.8 ppbv 2004, 2005 corresponding NOx values 14.5±14.0, 11.0±11.3 12.7±11.8 ppbv, respectively....

Rare earth elements play a significant role in NH3-SCR catalyst preparation. Their oxygen storage properties and stability effectively enhance the catalytic activity tolerance of catalyst. This study explores reaction mechanism using Density Functional Theory. DFT calculations were used to determine pathways, intermediates, transition state energy barriers on CeCO3F catalysts for NH3-SCR. The revealed six-step process NH3-SCR, involving NH3 adsorption, NO introduction, NH2NO HNNOH formation,...
