Extremely stable, high-density information storage media were prepared by the connection of two azobenzene groups via hydrogen bonding to form supramolecular bisazopolymers. The bisazopolymers contain 4-((4-hydroxyphenyl)diazenyl)benzonitrile (AzoCN) as a donor and poly(6-(4-(pyridin-4-yldiazenyl)phenoxy)hexyl methacrylate) (pAzopy) acceptor. High quality films pAzopy/(AzoCN)x (x = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0) with different molar ratios donor/acceptor spin-casting. spontaneously lamellar...

We present a two-photon-induced polarization-multiplexed and multilevel data storage method with bisazobenzene copolymer film. A polarization-adjustable femtosecond pulsed laser is used as writing beam to induce anisotropy, the recorded information retrieved by CCD sensor from film corresponding polarized illumination. It found that optical axis of molecules can be reoriented under two-photon excitation via photoisomerization process. Polarization-multiplexed demonstrated using this method....

Optically induced molecular orientation by photoisomerization of chromophores has been intensively researched with views application in photonics. We report a new polarization-encoded data storage method diazobenzene/MMA copolymer. Two-photon absorption (TPA) 4-{(2-methacryloyloxyethyl)oxy}-4'-(4-nitrophenylazo)azobenzene/MMA copolymer creates regularly angle variation via trans-cis isomerization process and induces birefringence the sample. This feature is key for ultrahigh-density optical...

Recently multi-dimensional data storage has been intensively researched. Four-dimensional can be achieved by combining ultra-fast laser based multilayer recording and polarization-multiplexed technology. One of the obstacles is readout crosstalk between different layers polarization states. In this paper, we report on high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) four-dimensional using femtosecond pulsed laser. Different polarization-encoded patterns are recorded tightly focusing a polarized beam (800nm,...

The thermal decomposition behavior of 3-amino-6-bromo-1,2,4-triazine (ABTA) with different moisture contents was studied a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). It found that the stability original wet ABTA worse than qualified dry ABTA. As drying process proceeded and water removed from ABTA, first exothermic shoulder disappeared gradually, improved accordingly. verified by interruption rescanning method followed N-order reaction, while had obvious autocatalytic characteristics....
